substantiation of this measure is actually simple: Often the old collector systems were over dimensioned because of imprecise software and for safety reasons, i.e. the installation delivers more energy than needed for
the warming up of the use water or more than it can be stored. That means: it is precious energy supplied by the sun free of cost and meaningless lost!
This situation has changed in the recent times, because the new
simulations are so ripe that they can take into account the complexity of whether and other factors, and hence arrive a better estimate of the expected solar yields. In the past, the possibilities of heat storage via
water, the most used medium in traditional heating installations, are limited. Longer bad-whether situations could not be bridged, with the result that the bolier had to compensate for the losses of the storage through
short operation periods, the most ineffective way of providing heat. This in turn had a negative effect on the lifetime of the broiler on the one hand and further excess dimensioning of the collector area.
Our method, to be able to exclude such planning's mistakes:
First of all we analyse the system in terms of energy. Based upon it, alternative measures will be taken into consideration to be able to increase
the performance of the system. The basic measure is to increase the capacity of thermal storage 5 to 8 times through use of
PCM (phase change material)
in the existing tank -without changing its volume. Accordingly, the collectors are going to be qualitatively and quantitatively upgraded as well.We carry out a simulation of both of the old and the upgraded system
to be able to demonstrate the performance of the new components; we take into consideration the wishes of our clients and try to hold the price of the system in relation to its lifespan as low as possible.
The task will be rounded up with a new installations plan.
Naturally we plan new solar systems as well, which have more performance and cost less through the application of PCM-technology.
Another service of our
